Training Session: Boss Laser HP3655

$20.00In this virtual training session members will learn the operating procedures for the Boss Laser HP3655.
The Boss Laser HP3655 is a 150-Watt CO2 laser with the capabilities to cut/engrave wood, acrylics, plastics, stone, and many more materials. This laser has a cutting area of 33.4″ x 54.33” and a work area of 40” x 70” with an optional material pass through to allow larger materials to fit in the laser. This laser’s additional features include a rotary spindle and oxygen assist. With the rotary spindle users can engrave cylindrical object such as pint glasses, tumblers, and various forms. By utilizing the oxygen assist up to 18-gauge steel can be cut.
This training session will guide members through basic operating procedures, software, and safety precautions for successful operation of the machine.
Once completed, members will schedule an in-person meeting with Workshop Manager Paul Williams to demonstrate proper use and understanding of the machine and receive official approval to use this tool.
